I was inspired to create angel dolls following my diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer one year ago. The images above are just a few examples of the angels I design.
Making the dolls has helped to give me the courage to face life one day at a time, or as I have said many times, "one angel at a time". Today I am so grateful for my health and thankful for everything that I have.
Each angel is "one-of-a-kind" and handcrafted with love. They are approximately 17 inches tall, their faces are sculpted from paper mache, their bodies are sewn with brightly colored cotton fabric, and their feathers are real. Every angel I make is unique and is a tribute to all women who have survived breast cancer, and especially for those who have lost their battle.
Everyone needs an angel watching over them and for $120.00 you can buy one (or two or three!) for yourself or to give as a gift to your favorite friend. For each angel purchased, I will donate a percentage of to the profits to the American Cancer Society to help the fight against breast cancer.
